OpenText Archive Center keeps a plain text record of every request it has ever answered: what was read, when, how long it took, how many bytes. It answers questions about usage, cost and access that nothing else in the landscape can, and almost nobody opens it.
After an upgrade, documents from OpenText Archive Center download instead of displaying. Nothing is wrong with the archive: one HTTP header decides it, the setting has moved into the Administration Client, and a blank frame is a different problem entirely.
A purge job in OpenText Archive Center that gets interrupted by a restart locks its buffer, so nothing is verified and nothing is removed. The buffer fills, archiving stops, and the only warning was a FATAL line in a job log nobody reads.
